Dr Rashmi Shahu is the Dean of Students Welfare at Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur. With 25 years of teaching experience, She is a double doctorate having PhD in Industrial Engineering from NITIE, Mumbai and PhD in Management from RTM Nagpur University, India. She has obtained the degree of MTech (Production), MBA (HRM) B.E. (Industrial Engineering), B.A. (Psychology) from RTM Nagpur University, India.

Through innovative initiatives and a commitment to quality education, she strives to empower students and faculty to become leaders in their fields, contribute meaningfully to society, and advance the frontiers of knowledge. She has published more than 75 research papers in national and international journals of repute. She presented research papers at international conferences in Dubai, Austria, Japan, Indonesia, Ireland, Netherland, and in India. She has published 3 patents, two of which are granted. Her book publication includes “Emotional Intelligence, Job Satisfaction and Performance”, Lambert Academic Publishing, ISBN: 978-3-8484-3920-1 (available on amazon.com) She received Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award, recognized by Govt. of India for outstanding work in Research in 2013. She also received the Outstanding Young Women Researcher Gold Medal Award at IIM Ahmadabad by AIMS International, Texas, U.S.A., in 2011. She received the Nation Builder Award in 2015 from the Rotary Club of Nagpur. She also received appreciation from the RTMNU career counselling cell for her outstanding contribution to the field of education. Her are of expertise includes Human Factor Engineering, Industrial Psychology and Organizational Behaviour.

As the Dean of Students Welfare, Dr. Rashmi envisions the general welfare of the students outside the classroom which contribute to the growth and development of their personality. Students Welfare office is to support and promote the present and future well-being of students, making them become the successful Graduate. Students Welfare office is poised to maintain the core values of the Ramdeobaba University and enhance students' development and success through innovative programmes, Counselling, health and wellness programmes and promoting a vibrant campus life through various students clubs..
