Dr. M S Kadu, Head of Department (Civil Engg.), has 34 years of teaching and research experience. He did his M. Tech in Hydraulics Engineering and PhD in Civil Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur. He has many International and National Publications, including publications in American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to his credit. He has also worked as a Dean (Academics) of RCOEM. He was a Chairman Board of Studies (Civil Engineering), RTM Nagpur University, Nagpur from 2010-2015. He was Secretary of Institution of Engineers, Nagpur Centre from 2018-2021. He is Member of Planning and Development of YCMOU, Nashik and a member of Board of Studies of Amravati University. His area of specialization includes Optimization of Engineering Systems using evolutionary programming techniques. He is an approved research supervisor of R.T.M. Nagpur University and guided 6 Ph.Ds. He has been awarded with two Patents and has received academic grants from AICTE Govt. of India. He has won Visiting International fellowship award (VIF-2015) for ASCE- EWRI organized World Conference on Environment and Water Resources held at Austin, Texas, USA, during May 2015. Shri I. H. Kanchareaddy Best paper award of Journal of "Indian Water Works Association" April- June 2010. He is actively associated with consultancy works and also with various professional organizations such as IWWA, ISH, IGS, IEI, ACCE and ISTE.
