Dr. Suresh S. Balpande is an academician holding degrees in D.E. (1996), B.E. (1999), M. Tech (2009), and Ph.D. (2018). Currently serving as Associate Professor of Information Technology and Security at Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur. He possesses more than 24 years of teaching expertise. His scholarly achievements include 25 publications in esteemed SCI/SCOPUS/WOS-indexed journals and 38 papers in national and international conferences. Dr. Balpande holds 10 patents and copyrights for over 15 works, including his notable book and chapter on 'Micro and Nano scale Vibration Energy Harvester' and '3D Printing Technology for Next-Generation Energy Harvesters'.
As a researcher, he has conducted research project under the auspices of the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, (Division of Atomic Energy), and completed two research projects availing 4 Lacs RCOEM seed money grant. His awards include a National Merit Scholarship, a Gold Medal (M. Tech), RCOEM Research Excellence Award (2018), and RCOEM Best Researcher Award (2023) recognising his teaching and research excellence. He has imparted knowledge through over 70 invited talks and 200 hours of corporate training for renowned corporates including Mahindra & Mahindra, Elkem South Asia Pvt Ltd (MNC), Hindalco Pvt. Ltd, and Yantra Institute of Technology and Management. His area of interest includes Machine Learning, MEMS, Microfluidics, Mechatronics, and Energy Harvesting. Actively involved in professional societies like ISTE, IETE, ISSS, and IAENG, Dr. Balpande also serves as a PhD supervisor and reviewer for Nature, IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, Taylor and Francis, Wiley, Sage etc.
