Visit by Prof. Mohan Kolhe, University of Agder (Norway)

Prof. Mohan Kolhe ,Professor in Smart Grid & Renewable Energy, Faculty of Engineering & Science, University of Agder (Norway) visited RBU campus on 15th July 2024.

Prof. Mohan Kolhe is a leading renewable energy technologist with three decades of academic experience at the international level and previously held academic positions at the world's prestigious universities, e.g., University College London (UK / Australia), University of Dundee (UK); University of Jyvaskyla (Finland); Hydrogen Research Institute, QC (Canada); etc. In addition, he was a member of the Government of South Australia's first Renewable Energy Board (2009-2011) and worked on developing renewable energy policies.

He interacted with RBU faculties regarding probable research opportunities at his University in the area of Sustainable Electrical Energy Systems, Smart Grid and Grid Integration of Renewable Energy Systems, Electric Vehicles.

MoU with Reutlingen University, Germany

Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur has signed a MoU with Reutlingen University, Germany on 2nd August 2024.

With this MoU, RBU students will be for their Employment Linked Program - Master of Science (MS) program in Professional Software Engineering in partnership with MHP Porsche at Reutlingen University, Germany.

This unique collaboration aims to combine the academic excellence of Knowledge Foundation - Reutlingen University, the practical expertise of MHP Porsche, and the innovative spirit of RBU to provide a world-class educational experience offering students valuable industry exposure and practical experience with MPH Porsche.

Hon. Chancellor of RBU, Dr. S.S. Mantha, Dean of National and International Relations, Dr. (Mrs.) Meghana Hasamnis, Associate Dean of National and International Relations Dr. (Mrs.) Mridula Korde and Mr. Daniel Geigis - Managing Director - Knowledge Foundation at Reutlingen University, Germany were present at the event.



Project with IIT, Bombay

  • A project, "Design and Fabrication of IDE-Based Biosensor for Early Detection of Leukaemia," achieved remarkable success, winning under the INUP i2i program at IIT Bombay in 2023. Biosensor devices are fabricated under the INUP i2i program, at IIT Bombay.



  • M. Tech. (VLSI Design) students, Rupal Virkhare, Ruchi Rathi and Yogesh Gondane of Department of Electronics Engineering attended INUP-i2i Hands - on Training Workshop on Fabrication and Characterization of MOSCAP (May 15 - 19, 2023, IIT Bombay)

Higher Education Opportunities in Collaboration with Hiroshima University


  • Dr. Riya George and Dr. Sushil Raut, both Assistant Professors at Hiroshima University, visited the institute on March 7, 2024. They provided guidance to the faculty and students on various higher education opportunities available at Hiroshima University.

Guest Lecture on "Higher Education Opportunities in Iowa State University"


    Guest Lecture on "Career Opportunities at Iowa State University" was conducted on 10th January 2024 by Prof. Vikram Dalal, Distinguished Prof. Iowa State University, USA. Prof. Vikram Dalal is currently the Anson Marston Distinguished Professor at Iowa State University, Ames, USA. Dalal has an impactful and distinguished career in the field of microelectronics and photonics in ECpE at Iowa State. The session was organized for the faculty members and Ph.D. scholars. In the session, Prof. Dalal gave brief information about his area of research. He focused on photo voltaic cells.

Guest lecture on "Higher Education Opportunities in RMIT University, Australia"



Ms. Prabhali Mazumdar, Country Representative for RMIT, Australia, visited the institute on February 23, 2019, to inform students about career opportunities at RMIT. During her discussion with the students, she explained various aspects such as scholarships, tuition fees, total living costs, internships, and job opportunities available while pursuing an MS degree.


Guest lecture on "Big Data Analytics & Opportunities in SRH Hochschule Heidelberg, Germany."


On December 2, 2019, Prof. Dr. Barbara Spric, Prof. Dr. Gerd Moeckel, and Prof. Dr. Ajinkya Prabhune from SRH University Heidelberg, Germany, delivered a lecture on "Opportunities in Big Data Analytics." During the discussion, Prof. Dr. Barbara Spric detailed their master's program in Big Data Analytics, while Prof. Dr. Ajinkya Prabhune spoke about their current projects and the industry's manpower requirements.


Webinar on Higher Education at Wayne State University


On February 16, 2021, Ms. Shraddha Singaurey, Recruitment Adviser for India at the Office of International Programs, Wayne State University (WSU), delivered a webinar to guide students on the career opportunities available at WSU, USA. She provided information about Wayne State University’s programs, scholarships, and research and teaching assistantships.


Guest lecture on "Higher Education Opportunities in Arizona State University, US"


On January 22, 2019, Mr. Deepraj Gahatraj, In-Country Admission Coordinator (India) at Arizona State University (ASU), visited our college to inform students about career opportunities at ASU in the US. His focus was on ASU's culture, scholarships, and student internships.
