Dr. Urmila Shrawankar
Director, School of Computer Science and Engineering

Dr. Urmila Shrawankar has more than 20 years teaching and 11 years professional experience. Her area of expertise is High Performance Computing, Cloud Computing & Virtualization, Parallel and Distributed Computing, Assistive Technology etc. She is more interested to apply emerging computer technology for societal benefits and find solutions for people having special needs.
She is a recipient of Best Teacher Award, 02 Best M.Tech. (CSE) Thesis awards, 04 Best research paper awards, Excellent Coordinator for Direct-to-Student (D2S), Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education (QEEE) program by IIT, Madras. Her Series of Video Lecturers are available at UGC's Gyandarshan Doordarshan National Channel. She is member of many professional societies such as IEEE, ACM, CSI , ISTE , IEI etc.
Dr. Urmila is very active in academics & research and also enthusiastically associated with many institutions and universities with various capacities.
