Departmental Library Details

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has a departmental library facility. It serves as a knowledge hub containing books.

The library aims at developing a comprehensive collection of books that is useful for the faculty and students in their education and research activities in the Department.

There is a rich collection of Textbooks, Reference books, and Magazines of the domain such as Databases, Computer Networks, Compilers, Data mining and analytics, Security, Data structures etc.

The Project Reports of previous academic years are also available for reference in the library. 471 books are available in the Departmental Library.

These books can be issued by the Staff members or students. The Issue-Return Register is maintained by the library. Staff members can issue books for the current semester, whereas students can issue the books for one week.

The Departmental Library contains a rich assortment of reference materials. The library has sample copies given by publishers, donated books by staff members and alumni, and certain reference books purchased by the Department.

Students can also issue the books as well as Project Reports for Reference. Log is maintained for the same in the issue / Return Register.

The Digital library facility offered by Central Library can be accessed by the faculty and students using the internet facility. The users use this service for searching information and downloading articles from various e-resources.
