Dr. Chandan R. Vichoray has 21 years of teaching experience and three years as an entrepreneur. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Technology at Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management (RCOEM), Nagpur, where he has been since August 2008. Previously, he was a lecturer at Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur.

Curriculum Development:

• Redesigned the 5-year MBA Integrated Scheme and the 2-year MBA program based on the National Education Policy (NEP) and AICTE Model curriculum.
• Designed a 1-year PG Diploma course in Operations Management.
• Introduced innovative practices such as industry-based projects, a lab course on Rural Community Engagement, and an open elective on "Innovations for Sustainable Development" aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Key Administrative Achievements:

• Dean R&D (2013-15): Launched the institute's R&D policy, regularized the R&D office, and established a research center for the Computer Science Department.
• Head of Department (2018-21): Executed consultancy projects worth ₹2 million, increased research focus, submitted nine research proposals, and received non-research grants totaling ₹980,000.
• Professor Incharge MIS (2015-2017): Maintained a 90% uptime for the institute's computer network and saved costs by negotiating better service agreements.
• Professor Incharge III (2011-13): Strengthened industry interface through initiatives like Abhyuday and Innoquest, resulting in meaningful industry-student interactions and increased consultancy projects.
