SRC in association with Department of Humanities started Dance Club in 2015 to promote and foster Dance among students. The club organizes dance workshops and prepares the students to represent the college in dance competitions at University, State and National Level. The club arranges dance performance to mark Independence Day and Republic Day in the college. Prof. Devishree R. Naidu of Computer Science and Engineering Department works as the mentor faculty for the club.
LAASYA, an intercollegiate dance competition for girls was organized by Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College, Nagpur on 17th and 24th August, 2019 in Shraddha House and Vasantrao Deshpande hall.The competition took place in two rounds, solo and duet, and in three variants solo, duet and group. Twenty teams from institutions like M.K.H. Sancheti and others participated in the competition. Snehal Rathi (Industrial, 2nd year) participated in the solo round. Amongst the eight teams qualified for the finals, RBU came out as a winner in the group round adding feathers to the cap. The winning team members are:

The students of RBU’s Dance Club and Literary Club’s students once again made the Institute proud by bagging top positions in the recently held all- India level cultural fest ‘Abhivyakti’ organized by Indian Institute of Information Technology, Nagpur. The dance team comprising Aditi Joshi, 8th Semester, Civil Engg. branch; Kritika Nijhawan and Aditya Patnaik, 8th Semester, Electronics and Communications Engg. branch; Saurabh Gandhi and Tanaya Wankhede, 8th Semester, Electronics Engg. branch; Ritika Agrawal, 6th Semester, Industrial Engg. branch; Mayuri Soor, 4th Semester, Computer Science Engg. branch; Sakshi Deshpande, 4th Semester, Electronics Engg. branch and Anshul Agrawal, 2nd Semester, Information Technology Engg. branch danced their way to bag the top position and the only prize instituted for the dance competition. Shivrai Kulkarni, 4th Semester, Mechanical Engg. branch bagged the first position as the best speaker against the motion, in the debate competition organized during the fest. The Dance club of the college organised The Dance Cup as a part of Pratishruti 2015-16. It evoked wide response from 9 branches. Students presented wide varieties of Indian light classical and western dance forms. The finals were held on 2nd February 2016. Computer Science Engineering branch won the dance cup and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and communication backed 2nd and 3rd position respectively.
