About the Department
- To provide students with a sound foundation of computer fundamentals, core computer knowledge, techniques, tools, and skills from mathematics required to solve problems in computer applications.
- To provide students with the knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) so that they can create computing solutions for various fields of IT and able to understand the importance of environmental, social, professional, and ethical issues.
- To provide exposure to emerging technologies, professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skills, adequate training, and opportunities to work as part of a team in multidisciplinary projects and adapt to current industry trends by engaging in lifelong learning

Dr. Ramchand Hablani Head of Department
Dr. Ramchand Hablani, has completed his Ph.D. from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore in 2014. Dr. Hablani has taught in organizations such as IIT Indore, DAVV Indore, and RGPV, Bhopal. He has a teaching experience of 30 years. He has published 30 research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has also been granted one patent in the field of computer vision. He is actively involved in conducting guest lectures at various institutes. He has conducted various workshops on “Artificial Intelligence, its relevance to defense manufacturing” at Nagpur, Mumbai and Chennai. He has developed AI and Robotics lab, and NVIDIA AI and Deep Learning lab in the department. His areas of interest are Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotics

- Total intake of 180 students (3 sections of 60 each ) for MCA(AIML) and 60 students for (BCA).
- Offers a 2-year full-time course with each year divided into two semesters.
- Out of 17 faculty members 6 have completed their Ph.D and rest are pursuing.
- Department has 4 Ph.D. guides registered in RBU under whom 10 scholars are pursuing their Ph.D.
