School of Humanities and Sciences
The School of Humanities and Sciences at the Ramdeobaba University has been an integral part of the institution since its inception in 1984. This school comprises multidisciplinary departments that encompasses five distinct domains:
- Department of Mathematics
- Department of Physics
- Department of Chemistry
- Department of Humanities
- Department of Physical Education
The School of Humanities and Sciences offers a broad spectrum of knowledge with interdisciplinary education, blending the study of arts, literature, history, philosophy, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics. It promotes critical thinking, creativity, and analytical skills through a diverse curriculum and research opportunities. Students engage in rigorous academic exploration and gain a deep understanding of human culture, scientific principles, and the natural world. The school prepares graduates for a wide range of careers by fostering intellectual curiosity and a commitment to lifelong learning, while also emphasizing the importance of ethical and social responsibility in addressing global challenges.

Prof. Pravin Dwaramwar Dean School of Humanities and Sciences
He has over 30 years of experience spanning academia, administration, innovation, and industry interaction. He holds a B.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, completed in 1995. Over the years, he has held several key academic and administrative positions, including Dean, Industry Institute Interaction; Director, RCOEM TBI Foundation; Dean, Planning & Development; and First Year Incharge. He has played a significant role in the establishment, growth, and academic development of the University.
His areas of specialization include Machine Learning, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Power Electronics and Drives, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Start-up Development, and Patent Filing. He has received 03 Best Paper Awards and 02 Best Project Awards, has 02 granted patents, and has secured research grants from Ministry of MSME and AICTE. He also has experience in consultancy services and has been instrumental in building a strong culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up development among students. Prof. Dwaramwar is committed to academic excellence, interdisciplinary learning, innovation-driven education, student-centric development, and strengthening industry-institute collaboration.
Major Achievement
- The school has well-equipped Research Centre established through 04 research grants of more than 1 Crore received from ICMR, SERB and DST and the MoU with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai.
- The department has successfully organized international conference, several webinars featuring eminent scientists.

Industry Interaction
- Kwality Photonics, Hyderabad. By Department of Physics.
- Chemistry Laboratory is a recognized testing centre for the petroleum products from the Ministry of Petroleum, Government of India. The department also undertakes an analysis of water samples, cement and other engineering materials.
