The School of Humanities and Sciences offers a dynamic and interdisciplinary education, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and values needed to thrive in an ever-evolving world. By integrating the humanities and sciences, the school provides a holistic learning experience that fosters critical thinking, creativity, and intellectual growth. With a strong emphasis on research, innovation, and real-world applications, the school prepares students for diverse career paths and lifelong learning. The school has established a state-of-the-art Research Centre, funded by four major research grants exceeding ₹1 crore from ICMR, SERB, and DST, further strengthening its research capabilities. Additionally, an MoU with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai has been signed to facilitate advanced research collaborations. The department has successfully organized international conferences, webinars, and the ATAL FDP on Rare-Earth Metals, featuring distinguished scientists and experts. Innovation is at the core of the school’s academic endeavors, reflected in seven granted patents and ten published patents.
Teaching and Learning

Dr. Bharati brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. He commenced his academic journey at the institution in September 1991 and has since been a cornerstone of academic excellence. Holding a Master’s degree in Chemistry attained in 1991 and a Doctorate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry conferred in January 2000 from the esteemed Post Graduate Teaching Department of Chemistry at Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (R. T. M. N. U.), Nagpur, Dr. Bharati’s academic credentials are impeccable.
