B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering (AI and Applications)

This undergraduate program equips students with a strong foundation in traditional electrical engineering while integrating AI and machine learning. Covering power systems, electronics, data analytics, and neural networks, it prepares graduates for the evolving industry.

The curriculum blends classical electrical engineering with AI-driven applications, focusing on power generation, distribution, utilization, and control. Key subjects include Power Systems, Power Electronics, Energy Management, and Industrial Drives. Hands-on training in state-of-the-art labs ensures practical expertise.

Graduates can pursue careers in the energy, automotive, automation, and IT industries, as well as research, government, and startups. They can work as design engineers, systems engineers, research scientists, project managers, or entrepreneurs in AI-driven electrical solutions.

Head of Department

Dr. Uday B. Mujumdar, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering has completed his graduation in 1992 from Visvesvarayya Regional College of Engineering (Presently VNIT), Nagpur and M.E from RSTMNU, Nagpur. He completed Ph.D from RSTMNU Nagpur in 2018 in the research area of Power Converters for Distributed Generation sources.
