Hostel Facilities

RBU offers secure and well-maintained hostel facilities that provide a home away from home. Separate hostels for boys and girls are equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment. The hostels feature spacious, well-ventilated rooms with attached bathrooms, high-speed internet, and 24/7 security. Hygienic and nutritious meals are served in the mess, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary preferences. Common areas for recreation and group study, along with regular maintenance and medical assistance, create a conducive environment for students to focus on their academic and personal growth.

Boys’ Hostel:

  • Two hostel buildings with a capacity of 494 students.
  • Double occupancy rooms provided for all students.
  • 175 seats are reserved for first-year students.

Girls’ Hostel:

  • Located near Ramdeobaba Temple.
  • Accommodates 145 students with double and triple occupancy options.
  • 36 seats allocated for first-year students.

The hostels provide a safe, comfortable, and convenient environment, ensuring a productive student life.

About Hostel

The Institute provides excellent hostel facility within the campus for the students who wish to avail the campus residential facility. The boys’ hostel is located at the rear end of the college while the girls’ hostel is situated near the Ramdeobaba temple. Each hostel is provided with round the clock caretakers and other essential staff. With personal attention and supervision, a clean, healthy and cheerful atmosphere is maintained at the hostels.

Accommodation and intake capacity

The provisional registration of students will be converted to regular admission subject to his/her eligibility after the declaration of pending results. In case of non-eligibility students should apply for refund of fees within two weeks from declaration of result. Moreover, hostel facility will be available only after college registration.

Boys’ hostel houses 494 students based on Single, double and triple occupancy. Accommodation is provided with respect to the distance from residence, preference is given to the students coming from longer distance.

Code of Conduct:

  • Students are expected to dress neatly, behave politely and show due regards and courtesy to all.
  • Students are expected to refrain from making any activities, which is likely to disturb others and for such wrongful acts, if complaint is received then it shall be presumed that the act is done unless proved otherwise strict action including expulsion from hostel shall be taken.
  • Students will have to vacate their room within 3 days after their summer examination.
  • Any hosteller found or reported indulging in ragging in any form inside/outside the hostel premises, will be expelled from the hostel immediately.
  • ANY HOSTELLER FOUND OR REPORTED INDULGINGIN IN RAGGING IN ANY FORM INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE HOSTEL PREMISES, WILL BE EXPELLED FROM THE HOSTEL IMMEDIATELY.
  • Any parcel / take away is not allowed after 10:30pm
  • No students will be permitted to enter the hostel after 10.30 p.m.in boy’s hostel and 8.00 p.m. in girls’ hostel. However, a student who has sought prior written permission from the Warden/Caretaker to come late may be allowed to enter after the specified time but not later than the time up to which he/she has been granted permission by the Warden/Caretaker. In case, the student goes out without prior permission, the hostel authority shall have right to terminate/expel the student from the hostel & authority shall not be answerable for any misdeed, or wrong incident, occurring with the student.
  • It is mandatory to enter the movement register for going outside after college time is over.
  • Gambling, smoking, consuming alcohol, drugs are strictly prohibited. Any violation of the rule will lead to expulsion of the student from the hostel as well as college. The ill acts and bad habits are punishable and liable for expulsion from college/hostel.
  • No visitor will be allowed in the hostel without prior permission

  • Medical Facility-A separate dispensary is available in both the hostels. Dr. Ramanand Somani (M.B.B.S.F.C.G.P) is the Consulting Physician at the Boys’ hostel. He take care of regular check-ups and minor ailments.

 

Medical Facilities in Boys’ Hostel

  • · There is a clinic in the campus located beside the Hostel office of boys’ hostel. Dr.Ramanand Somani is the general physician who attends the patients every day between 8 am to 9 am.
  • · One Nursing staff is provided to help the doctor.
  • · Free medicine is distributed to the needy students for common ailments.
  • · First aid box with all required medicines is available 24×7 in hostel office.
  • · If any emergency cases, the following hospitals will provide the ambulance service for the students.
  • · Memorandum of understanding has been signed with nearby hospital to meet with medical emergency. It prominently includes some of the reputed hospitals like:

Guest House facility (Visitor’s accommodation facility):

Guest house facility is available at Boys’ hostel for Visitor’s accommodation. 3 AC and 3 Non-AC rooms are available with Minimum charges of Rs. 1500/- and Rs. 600 respectively.

  • It is mandatory to enter mobile no. in register which is kept near the main gate, if they are entering the hostel after 9:00pm.
  • If you go out with Local Guardian and siblings, than it is mandatory to take permission of the parents before getting the gate pass.
  • It is mandatory to enter the movement register for going outside after college time is over.
  • They are not allowed to talk or interact with their male batch mates / friends near Girls’ Hostel.
  • They are informed to be in decent clothing while moving in common place like mess are, visiting area and outside the Girls’ Hostel premises.

  • Consultation and medicines are provided free of charge.In case of any emergency, the patient is shifted to a specialized hospital under the doctor’s supervision.
