The IBM ICE Day (Innovation Centre for Education Day) celebrated on 18th March 2026
Students actively participated by presenting innovative ideas, research work, and technological solutions during the Poster Presentation Competition. The competition provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Dr. Richa R. Khandelwal Associate Head of Dept Electronics and Computer Science-IBM
Dr. Richa R. Khandelwal is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering, Ramdeobaba University, Nagpur, India with expertise in embedded systems, IoT architectures, intelligent sensing systems, and applied machine learning. She has guided multiple student research projects in the areas of AI-enabled embedded systems and real-time sensing applications. Her research interests include IoT systems, edge computing, intelligent sensor networks, and cyber-physical systems. Dr.R. Khandelwal and her team won the best simulation for paper titled “ML-Driven real time emotion and stress level monitoring” at 3rd IEEE international conference on Interdisciplinary Approaches in Technology and Management for Social Innovation (IEEE-IATMSI 2025) organized at IIITM, Gwalior, India. She and her student participated in IEEE APSCON 2025 Startup Challenge held at IIT Hyderabad, India. She and her team are winner of AIoT INNOVATOR award at ICEdge 2025at IISc Bangalore. She earned her B.E. in Electronics from MITS, Gwalior, in 1998, followed by an M.Tech from YCCE, Nagpur, in 2005. She completed her doctoral studies at Barkatullah University, Bhopal, receiving her Ph.D. in 2015.She has more than 25 years of teaching experience. She has more than 50 publications to her name in reputed conferences and journals.
