The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SEEE) at Ramdeobaba University is a dynamic hub of education, innovation, and research dedicated to shaping the engineers of tomorrow. Our vision is to cultivate comprehensive development and technical expertise, establishing SEEE as the premier destination for aspiring students.
With a team of 75 dedicated well experienced faculty members, over 50 research scholars, and numerous committed staff, SEEE boasts of excellence in teaching and research. Our faculty’s diverse experience spans a wide array of areas, including VLSI Design, MEMS, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Al Edge Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Communications, Nanotechnology, Biomedical Devices and Instrumentation, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, Control Systems, Electric Vehicle Technology.
The school is committed to provide students with a transformative learning journey with a perfect blend of academic rigor and practical application. Offering a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the school equip graduates with the skills, knowledge, and mind-set necessary for success in today’s competitive global scenario. Over the years, the programmes have cultivated exceptional research infrastructure for both experimental and theoretical studies in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The interdisciplinary research is actively promoted and have established fruitful collaborations both nationally and internationally. Currently, the school offer B.Tech., M.Tech., and Ph.D. programs in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

Dr.Sanjay B. Pokle

Dean, School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Dr. Sanjay B. Pokle, Dean of the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Ramdeobaba University, holds a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from VNIT Nagpur and has 28 years of teaching experience. He has served as Head of ECE and Chairman of the Electronics Engineering Board at RTM Nagpur University.

The School of Engineering Sciences boasts a distinguished faculty comprising 69 accomplished educators and scholars, including 39 PhD holders. This team of seasoned academics, industry experts, and leading researchers brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to both the classroom and research initiatives. Beyond teaching, faculty members actively mentor students, fostering intellectual curiosity and innovation. MOOC learning material is developed by the faculty of the department Dr. Mridula Korde and Dr. Ankita Harkare on Udemy platform providing global learning opportunities.

One of our key strengths lies in our strong industry partnerships, which provide students with valuable opportunities for hands-on experience and collaboration on real-world projects. These partnerships also ensure that our curriculum remains relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of the industry.

The NVIDIA Centre of Excellence has been established as a premier research facility for AI and Deep Learning, equipped with A100 NVIDIA DGX servers and RTX 4090 workstations to support cutting-edge research in hyperspectral imaging, NLP, and computer vision. This facility enables breakthrough projects in autonomous systems and medical imaging applications, driving innovation in AI-driven solutions.

A significant collaboration with CSIR-CIMFR, backed by a ₹1.03 crore research grant, focuses on leveraging AI and machine learning for predictive analytics, resource optimization, and safety enhancements in industrial applications.

Additionally, Solar Industries, Nagpur has funded a ₹6.09 lakh project to advance research in big data analytics, IoT applications, and scalable cloud architectures for industrial deployment.

 

The ongoing research spans multiple domains, particularly in cybersecurity, with pioneering efforts in blockchain-based access control, ethical hacking, and cryptographic systems, ensuring tamper-resistant security solutions for MSMEs and enterprises.

Further, AI research includes GANs, transformer models, chatbots, real-time translation engines, and sentiment analysis systems, with focus on enhancing the efficiency and applicability of generative models. Additional work is dedicated to distributed systems, real-time data processing, and energy-efficient cloud optimization, along with the development of IoT-integrated predictive analytics frameworks.
