- Ankita Harkare received Patent GEM Award for product innovation displayed at the PATENT GALLERY at Advantage Vidarbha at RTMNU, Nagpur held under the mentorship of Shri Nitinji Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Govt. of India. (7-9th Feb 2025)
- Ankita H. Harkare received IEEE- Innovation Award for her contribution towards sustainable innovation in the field of antennas on 13th December 2023.
- P. P. Deshpande won a First Prize Vermeil Medal (Gold Medal) in a District Level Philatelic Exhibition- NAGPURPEX 2024 held during Nov 29-30, 2024.
- Bhumika Neole received best paper award in various international conferences in the year 2022 and 2023.
- S. B. Pokle and Prof. Prasheel Thakre received the best paper award in 2nd International Conference on Innovative Computing and Applications (ICICA’22) for the paper titled “Optimal power allocation for NOMA-based Internet of things over OFDM sub bands”.
- Deepak Khushalani received the best paper award in 4th International Conference on “Electronic Systems, Signal Processing and Computing Technologies-ICESC 2022 for the paper titled “Power-Area Efficient Computing technique for Approximate Multiplier with Carry Prediction”.

Students Awards
- Students of 4th semester Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management(RCOEM), Nagpur received a cash prize of Rs. 20,000/- in the college Youth Ideathon organized by IIT Delhi.
- Students of Second Year Ramdeobaba University Team Encoder (Nikhil Mehtapsingh Damahe, Mushrat Khan, Rameshwari Radke) received 1st position and won 10,000/- Rs Cash Prize for “Flight Insurance App” in the event hack on a national level Technical Symposium organized by Government College of Engineering, Nagpur.
- Students of second year Ramdeobaba University received 1st position and won 5000Rs. Cash prize in the event Hackathon Avishkar 3.0 an inter-collegiate event organized by Cummins College of Engineering for Women, Nagpur held on 21st to 22nd Feb 2025.
- Students of First year of Ramdeobaba University receied 1st position in the group dance category in Laasys – National intercollegiate Dance comepetition organized by Sadabai Raisoni Woments College, Nagpur held on 7th Feb 2025.
- Harsh Samarth (2027-28) – First Student from RBU Participating in South West Zone/Inter University Competitions under the structure of Inter University Sports Board (Association of Indian University- AIU) after Ramdeobaba gets University Status. Harsh Samarth a First-Semester ECE student from RBU, will be representing our institution in the prestigious Southwest Zone Inter-University Judo Men’s Championship held at L.N.C.T. University, Bhopal.

- Sana Ansari (2025-26) – Sana Ansari (2025-26) ECE and Palak Agrawal, AIML First Year bagged the 2nd position and Cash prize at Dr. M.K Umathe College Inter-Collegiate Debate Competition on 17th Jan 2024.

- Siddhi Dubey of VII Sem EC is promoted to Cadet Under Officer at 2 Mah Air Sqn NCC, she has completed 5 Camps and 2 Sorties at Virus SW-80 Microlite Aircraft. Ms. Siddhi Dubey, a 2021-22 batch student of the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch, is selected as an Executive Pilot in the Indian Navy (A second batch of Pilot women in the Indian Navy).
- Siddhi is one of the youngest Pilot Officers in the Indian Navy to achieve this feat and is a third generation of “fauji” from her family to join the Defence Services.
- The alumni of EC department, Madhulika Dolke (2016-17) and Ms. Shrushti Mehatkar (2017-18) are the members of 5 members team have brought laurels to the College as their start up TERN (Technology Engineering Research for Nature) has qualified in the semifinal round of Swadeshi Microprocessor Challege organized by Union government’s ministry of electronics & information technology (MEITY). The five members of TERN team is now working on a minimum viable prototype (MVP) of smart camera trap, which will reduce burden on the forest staff and play an important role in securing data captured from the forest.

- Focus: Catering to restaurants and delivering a predictable, high-quality food experience during travel.
- Funding Support: The university recognized the potential of this idea and provided financial backing of ₹2,00,000, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial growth.
- This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to empowering students to turn their ideas into impactful solutions.
