Program Educational Objectives

PEO 1: Our graduates will be able to plan, design and develop AI based solutions and practice in electrical systems.

PEO 2: Our graduates will be able to work in multidisciplinary environments including IT applications and adapt themselves as per the emerging technological needs of Industry.

PEO 3: Our graduates will be able to progress in their career by demonstrating in practice the technical and communication skills effectively with understanding of ethical and social values

Program Educational Objectives - M. Tech in Electrical Engg. (Electric Vehicle Technology)

  • PEO1. To mould the students to improve their technical and intellectual capability in Electric Vehicle applications and to develop interest for life-long learning.
  • PEO2. To prepare the students to acquire the knowledge, skills, qualities and values necessary for employment in areas related with Electric Vehicles.
  • PEO3. To prepare and inspire the students to become future researcher/good teacher/technocrat/ with innovative idea for sustainable development.

Program Outcomes

PO1: Engineering Knowledge: Apply knowledge of mathematics, natural science, computing, engineering fundamentals and an engineering specialization to develop to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2: Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions with consideration for sustainable development.

PO3: Design/Development of Solutions: Design creative solutions for complex engineering problems and design/develop systems/components/processes to meet identified needs with consideration for the public health and safety, whole-life cost, net zero carbon, culture, society and environment as required.

PO4: Conduct Investigations of Complex Problems: Conduct investigations of complex engineering problems using research-based knowledge including design of experiments, modelling, analysis & interpretation of data to provide valid conclusions.

PO5: Engineering Tool Usage: Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources and modern engineering & IT tools, including prediction and modelling recognizing their limitations to solve complex engineering problems.

PO6: The Engineer and The World: Analyze and evaluate societal and environmental aspects while solving complex engineering problems for its impact on sustainability with reference to economy, health, safety, legal framework, culture and environment.

PO7: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics, human values, diversity and inclusion; adhere to national & international laws.

PO8: Individual and Collaborative Team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse/multi-disciplinary teams.

PO9: Communication: Communicate effectively and inclusively within the engineering community and society at large, such as being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations considering cultural, language, and learning differences

PO10: Project Management and Finance: Apply knowledge and understanding of engineering management principles and economic decision-making and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, and to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

PO11: Life-Long Learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability for i) independent and life-long learning ii) adaptability to new and emerging technologies and iii) critical thinking in the broadest context of technological change.

Program Outcomes - M. Tech in Electrical Engg. (Electric Vehicle Technology)

After completion of the program, the students shall have,

  • PO1. An ability to carry out independent research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
  • PO2. An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document.
  • PO3. An ability to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area in Electric Vehicle applications.

Programme Specific Outcomes

  • PSO1: Analyze, design and develop electrical systems considering Energy efficiency, Industry applications, and Power Scenario and Environmental issues.

  • PSO 2:Apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques and methodologies to solve complex problems in various domains of electrical engineering.

  • PSO 3: Apply the knowledge of modern IT tools to Electrical Engineering applications.

Programme Specific Outcomes - B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (AI and Applications)

  • PSO1: Analyze, design, and develop electrical engineering systems by integrating core electrical concepts with Artificial Intelligence techniques for applications in power systems, control, renewable energy, electric vehicle and industrial automation.
  • PSO 2: Apply AI tools, data analytics, machine learning, and computational techniques to solve complex electrical engineering problems in various domains of electrical engineering.

Programme Specific Outcomes - M. Tech in Electrical Engg. (Electric Vehicle Technology)

  • PSO1. An ability to understand, analyse and design the electrical devices, power converters and control circuit for electric vehicle applications.
  • PSO2. An ability to learn, utilize and develop modern tools for modelling, analysing and solving various engineering problems related to electric vehicle applications.
