Character earns respect; knowledge empowers success”says IPS Vishwas Nangre Patil, inaugurating Induction 2026 at Ramdeobaba University

Nagpur, July 27 (Monday):Ramdeobaba University welcomed its newly admitted students at the InductionProgramme 2026.The inaugural session was graced by Chief Guest IPS Vishwas Nangre Patil, Commissioner of Police, Nagpur City who was the keynote speaker.

Beginning his keynote address with the Sanskrit verse, विद्वत्त्वंचनृपत्वंचनैवतुल्यंकदाचन।स्वदेशेपूज्यतेराजाविद्वान्सर्वत्रपूज्यते॥,Shri Vishwas Nangre Patil underscored the timeless value of knowledge. Addressing the Gen-Z, he urged students to build strong character, remain physically and mentally fit. He emphasised the crucial role of teachers in character building.

Reflecting on his inspiring journey from a small rural village to the Indian Police Service, Shri Vishwas Nangre Patil emphasised that success is built on perseverance and discipline. Recalling his experience during the Mumbai Taj terror attacks, he shared the powerful message, “The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war,” encouraging students to prepare themselves with dedication for every challenge in life. He further advised students to cultivate the habit of reading, invest continuously in knowledge, stay away from negative influences, and uphold values that shape responsible citizens.

Concluding his address with the Powerful lines, देशकेसम्मानमें, अडिगकर्तव्योंकी, अविचलपरिपाटीहूँ, मैंखाकीहूँShriVishwas Nangre Patil received a standing ovation from the audience, bringing the inaugural session to an inspiring and memorable close. On the request of the Students, A group selfie was also taken with the newly admitted students, marking the beginning of their academic journey at Ramdeobaba University.

The programme was attended by General Secretary Rajendra Purohit, Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti, Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajesh Pande, and Ramdeobaba University.  Director of Student Affairs Dr. Sonkhaskar, Incharge First Year Prof, P.Dwaramwar, faculty members, staff,  the newly admitted students and Parents.  General Secretary Rajendra Purohit felicitated the Chief Guest with a bouquet and a memento as a token of gratitude and appreciation on behalf of Ramdeobaba University.
