It provides comprehensive programs including B.Tech with specializations in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science and Analytics, Industry Integrated Program with SAP, and Cyber Security, along with advanced M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. Backed by state-of-the-art infrastructure such as the NVIDIA DGX Deep Learning Workstation with V100 GPUs, 82+ high-performance computing systems, the PIKA Hyperspectral Imaging Camera, and the RCOEM-NVIDIA Center of Excellence for AI-ML and Data Analytics, the department fosters a vibrant research culture and real-world learning environment. Dr. Preeti Voditel Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
Dr.Preeti Voditel holds a B.E. from Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, an M.Tech. in Computer Science & Information Technology from IIT Kharagpur, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from VNIT, Nagpur. She has over 22 years of experience, including 2 years in the industry with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) during its computerization and 20 years in academia. She has contributed through international publications, patents, and consultancy projects, and is a member of IEEE and ACM. Her areas of interest include Data Mining, Algorithms, Reinforcement Learning, Statistical Learning, and FinTech.

Dr. Aarti Karandikar Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Aarti Karandikar is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 23 years of experience in Computer Science & Engineering and Data Science. She holds a B.E. (CSE), M.Tech. (CSE), and Ph.D. (Computer Science, 2025). She has published 50+ research papers in reputed journals and conferences and holds 2 copyrights. She is also a certified educator trainer for the Alteryx Foundation Course and Alteryx Designer Core. Her research interests include Data Analytics, Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Remote Sensing.

Dr. Rashmi Welekar Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Rashmi Welekar has over 22 years of teaching and 3 years of industry experience. She holds B.E., M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science & Technology. Her contributions include 40+ publications, multiple patents, copyrights, and a consultancy project for Social Impact Innovations Pvt. Ltd. She is a Certified Network Defender, Ethical Hacker, and Palo Alto Cyber Security Academy Educator. Her research interests include Computer Networks, Evolutionary Computing, OOP, and Cyber Security.

Dr. Pravin Sonsare Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Pravin Sonsare is a Computer Science academician and researcher with over 15 years of teaching experience. He earned his Ph.D. from VIT, Vellore, specializing in deep learning for protein secondary structure prediction. He teaches and mentors students in Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning. His research interests include Deep Learning, Graph Neural Networks and Generative AI with a strong publication record in reputed international journals and conferences. He holds granted and published patents, a registered copyright and has led industry-sponsored AI research projects. He is also a NVIDIA DLI Platinum Instructor, NVIDIA Certified Associate in Generative AI and LLMs and a NVIDIA Certification Coach.

Dr. Abhijeet Raipurkar Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Abhijeet Ramesh Raipurkar is a academician with over 19 years of total experience, including 16+ years of teaching experience and 3 years of industrial experience.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering. He has a strong research profile with 34+ publications and conference papers, reflecting consistent contributions to the global research community.
His research areas span Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Blockchain Technology, IoT Security, Data Warehousing, Smart Cities, and Computer Vision, demonstrating a broad yet interdisciplinary academic focus.
A recipient of the Best Teacher Award at RCOEM, he is also a Certified Blockchain Expert, an NPTEL topper, and a Smart India Hackathon 2019 winner and mentor, reflecting excellence in both teaching and innovation.
Beyond research and teaching, he has held significant administrative and academic responsibilities, including roles as NBA Coordinator, Program Coordinator for B.Tech CSE (SAP-integrated), Academic Coordinator, BoS Coordinator.

Dr. Khushboo Khurana Associate Head, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Khushboo Khurana holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur. With a strong academic foundation, she earned her Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering, with being a Gold Medalist in M.Tech and Rank holder in B.E. With more than 13 years of experience, she had made various contributions to the academic and research community. Dr. Khurana is an NVIDIA Certified Associate and serves as an NVIDIA Certified Instructor and Coach. She is the author of a well-received academic book titled Compiler Design, published by University Press. She has authored numerous research publications in reputed SCI / Scopus-indexed journals an international conferences, secured research funding, and holds granted patents. Her research interests include Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. She actively mentors undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
