In a significant step towards strengthening industry-relevant education and innovation, Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Honourable Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Maharashtra, visited Ramdeobaba University (RBU).  A visionary leader and forward-looking policymaker, Shri Lodha is widely known for his efforts in promoting innovation, start-ups, and skill-based education across the state. During his visit, he interacted with the University Deans and Heads of Departments, emphasizing the importance of skill development and artificial intelligence in preparing industry-ready professionals and fostering entrepreneurial thinking aligned with national development priorities.

On this occasion, he was briefed on the institution’s efforts in building a robust research and innovation ecosystem with emphasis on entrepreneurship and startup development. The implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) in letter and spirit was also emphasized.

During his visit, Shri Lodha reviewed the university’s academic and research infrastructure. He appreciated RBU’s focused efforts in building an ecosystem that supports experiential learning, skill enhancement, and entrepreneurship-oriented education.

During the visit Shri Rajendra Purohit, General Secretary, SRSS, Dr. S. S. Mantha,  Chancellor, Dr. Rajesh Pande, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Manoj Chandak, Principal RCOEM along with other office bearers were present. The interaction reaffirmed Ramdeobaba University’s commitment to aligning its academic vision with national and state priorities in skill development and entrepreneurship.
