Training Initiatives
One of the primary objectives of the School of Management is to nurture and develop a diverse set of managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills among students while providing them with ample opportunities to explore their potential. The School is dedicated to equipping every student with the knowledge, exposure, and confidence required to pursue careers aligned with their aspirations and goals.
To enhance the employability and industry readiness of students, the Placement Committee has organized various training and development programs. These include Aptitude Training to strengthen problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities, Group Discussion and Personal Interview sessions to improve communication and presentation skills, and Soft Skills Workshops focusing on teamwork, leadership, and professional behaviour.
Students underwent technical skill training, such as SAP, to gain hands-on experience with business process integration and ERP systems widely used across industries. These structured initiatives, conducted under expert guidance, have significantly contributed to preparing students for corporate challenges and successful campus placements.
Alumni Sessions on Industry Insights
Regular sessions are organised with Alumni of the University to give the students insights into Industry expectations and requirements. These sessions enable the students to navigate the corporate labyrinth more effectively by preparing themselves for the journey ahead
Resume Building Session
Resume Building Sessions are conducted to guide students in crafting impactful and professional resumes. The sessions focus on aligning resumes with industry standards, highlighting key achievements, and improving presentation skills. Students actively participate in this session and receive feedback to enhance their placement readiness.
Specialisation Orientation Program
Specialisation Orientation Programs are conducted in the second semester to familiarise students with various elective domains such as Business Analytics, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Operations. The session guides the students in selecting their areas of interest and understanding career prospects in each specialisation. Faculty members provide insights into course content, industry relevance, and future opportunities.
Aptitude Development Session
Aptitude Development Sessions are conducted to strengthen students’ quantitative, logical reasoning, and verbal abilities. The sessions aim to enhance analytical thinking and problem-solving skills essential to placement processes. The test-based learning modules help students improve their speed and accuracy for corporate aptitude assessments.
Personal Interview (PI) Training Session
Personal Interview Training Sessions are conducted to prepare students for their final placement rounds. The interactive session focused on building confidence, improving articulation, and understanding interview etiquette. Students gain practical insights into handling HR and technical questions effectively, enhancing their overall interview readiness.
Mock Group Discussion & Personal Interview Session
Mock Group Discussion & PI Sessions are conducted to help students enhance their communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills. The activity simulates real placement scenarios, allowing participants to express opinions confidently and develop structured viewpoints. Faculty mentors provided constructive feedback to improve performance in future placement rounds.
