Dr. Bhumeshwar Patle Head of Department
Dr. Bhumeshwar K. Patle is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 18 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, CAD-CAM, Composite Materials, and AI. He holds a Ph.D. in Robotics and AI from NIT Rourkela and completed his Post-Doctoral Fellowship at National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan. Currently serving as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, he is renowned for his interdisciplinary research, industry collaborations, and commitment to student development.
Dr. Patle has authored 100+ research papers, holds 3 patents, and has over 2,900 citations to his credit. He has successfully guided 2 Ph.D. scholars, with 6 currently pursuing under his supervision, and has led industry consultancy projects worth over ₹20 lakhs. He has been continuously featured in the list of the world’s top 2 % scientists published by Stanford/Elsevier.
