Project Highlight: Solar Concentration Research Facility
This innovative project, funded by RCOEM Nagpur under the RCOEM–Young Faculty Research Funding Scheme (YFRF), received a total funding of ₹11,06,500/-. The project features:
- Two high-efficiency Parabolic Dish Collectors with an aperture of 16 sq. meters each.
- An impressive concentration ratio exceeding 300, enabling significant thermal energy capture.
- A fully automatic dual-axis solar tracking system integrated with IoT-based Data Acquisition System (DAQS) for precision monitoring and control.
The facility has attracted over 500 school students and 200 industry delegates and researchers, making it a vibrant center for demonstration, learning, and research. Recognized as one of its kind in the region, the setup serves as a landmark initiative in promoting renewable energy technologies and hands-on STEM education.

Title: Design and Development of Bio-degradable Spacer

Details of Proposal Submitted: The proposal was submitted under the scheme of RGSTC-MSME, Maharashtra for funding of Rs. 280000/-. This proposal was about designing and developing a Spacer, using biodegradable material, fitted in tyre to retain bead-to-bead distance while transporting the new tyres from manufacture to dealers.
Status: Proposal is accepted under the RGSTC-MSME scheme and complete funding is done in June 2024

Title: Development of Sustainable Bamboo Composite with Enhanced biodegradability. as a replacement of Plastic.

Details of Proposal Submitted: The proposal is submitted to RGSTC-MSME, Maharashtra for funding of Rs. 321000/- This proposal is about Sustainable Bamboo Composite with Enhanced biodegradability which may replace plastic.
Status: Proposal is accepted under the RGSTC-MSME scheme and Rs. 295000/- is sanctioned on 3rd December 2024.
