Dr. Padma Adane Dean School of Computer Science and Engineering
Dr. Padma Adane earned her B.E. and M.Tech. degrees from Nagpur University and completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering at VNIT, Nagpur. She brings with her over 33 years of professional experience, including 4 years in industry and 29 years in academia. A committed and passionate educator, she emphasizes the importance of continuous learning, innovative pedagogy, and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance student engagement. She also strongly advocates for academic–industry partnerships, recognizing their role in enriching curricula, providing practical exposure, and fostering research with real-world applications. Dr.Adane envisions the School of Computer Science and Engineering as a vibrant centre of learning that promotes creativity, knowledge building, and research, while maintaining high academic standards and preparing students to excel in a globally competitive environment.
