B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Future Engineers, through the state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-qualified and experienced faculty, cutting-edge research, and remarkable student achievements. Established in 2009, the Mechanical Engineering Department at Ramdeobaba University has a rich legacy of academic excellence endorsed by NBA, continuously for 9 years. Over the years, the department has been nurturing innovative research and encouraging lucid teaching methodologies, producing top-tier engineers. The department promotes experiential and participative learning through the provision of various integrated learning environments. The Department of Mechanical Engineering is committed to fostering innovation, nurturing talent, and empowering students to excel in the ever-evolving technological landscape. The B. Tech program in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year course designed to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to solve real-world engineering challenges. This program emphasizes a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles like product system design, smart manufacturing, Automation, thermal engineering & energy systems, modern transport systems like EV, drones etc, complemented by essential hands-on learning. Throughout the program, students explore core mechanical engineering subjects and also gains the specialized knowledge in industrial automation, including topics such as IoT & Industry 4.0, CNC, AI, control systems, sensors & actuators, PLC programming, robotics, and computer-integrated manufacturing. Graduates are well-prepared for careers in fields such as automotive engineering, aerospace, robotics, advanced manufacturing sectors, IoT and data-driven process optimization, and energy sectors.
